My current interest is in how to casually continue to stare at that one point.
I found it wonderful that the artist was focusing on light, and that he continued to focus on one point while creating the work. I don't think you can do this unless you know painting very well, such as being fixated on a specific thing, continuously gazing at it, taking it into your body, and outputting it. We also appreciated the fact that the textures stand out even more when combined with colors, such as a moss-colored green created with a candy-like texture. (Fuyuko Matsui)
