Author's comment

For me, painting is always about the stability that comes from the repulsion and harmony between opposites, and its collapse.

Judge's review

It is reminiscent of the New Paintings of the 1980s, but the way the motif is captured is unique. The use of background colors also has a strange and original feel, giving the sense that the film is trying to grasp something at the very last moment. Even after I finished watching it, I was left with a vague image, and I felt an indescribable charm that I couldn't fully analyze. (Naoki Sato)
