Based on my childhood experience where I felt that the body and I were made of completely different things, I wanted to express my doubts about life and the body.
Where does this photo's mysterious charm come from? It is the ``physicality'' and ``sensuality'' of the photograph itself. That is "strength". The subject is also a body, but more than that, the photograph itself has become a "body." In the future, I think it would be better to be more conscious of this and incorporate a performative incident rather than just the body as the subject. (Shigeo Goto)
