Feelings of anxiety and fear about what lies ahead are enveloped in the darkness of the night.

Judge's review

The author's inner fluctuations and anxieties are delicately projected onto the accurate depictions of photorealist paintings. After the earthquake, many works that look at the inner world have appeared, and this work seems to be in the same vein. (Yuko Hasegawa)
