On October 30, 2018, the definition of "Japanese wine" was clarified by a notice from the National Tax Agency, so we have held the Japanese Wine Toast Day® Events twice in late October. This year, the third event will be held as the opening event of Marunouchi Japanese Wine Weeks. Let's celebrate the harvest of high-quality grapes and the finished high-quality wine, and toast together with our heartfelt respect for the producers and the production areas. This is a rare opportunity to directly interact with winemakers from all over Japan who have been awarded five stars in the Japan Winery Awards® 2024. Please come to Venue.

Keynote talk: "The potential of Japanese wine in the French market" by Genki Iwasaki, organizer of "Salon des Vins Japonais", the first Japanese wine tasting event in France

Wineries scheduled to visit: Takabatake Winery (Yamagata Prefecture), Takeda Winery (Yamagata Prefecture), Katsunuma Winery (Yamanashi Prefecture), Suntory Tominooka Winery (Yamanashi Prefecture), Kiyama Winery (Yamanashi Prefecture), Chateau Mercian (Yamanashi Prefecture), Marufuji Winery (Yamanashi Prefecture), Anshin-in Winery (Oita Prefecture), and more.

You can sample representative wines from 16 wineries that have been awarded five stars in the Japan Winery Awards® 2024.

Japan Wine Hopping Weeks @Marunouchi MARUNOUCHI HOUSE

During Period, all MARUNOUCHI HOUSE stores will offer a lineup of representative wines from wineries that won the Japan Winery Awards® 2024, along with recommended menus that go well with the wines at each store.
In addition, as part of the Japan Wine Hopping Challenge, customers who order eligible wines at each store will receive a stamp. When you collect all the stamps, you will receive a free glass of Japanese wine selected from a star-awarded winery on a first-come, first-served basis.

The quality of Japanese wine has improved significantly, with some products winning awards at international competitions, and October 30th is also the anniversary of the establishment of the Japanese wine standards.
