Introducing the birth of the Marunouchi brand of souvenirs.

Marunouchi in Tokyo is the most famous business district of Japan. It is said that this once prospering castle town, home to Edo Castle, was famous for gifts sent from here across the country.* For over 400 years, the spirit of gift giving has been nurtured in this neighborhood. This specialty of Marunouchi is known as ‘Oshimon’ in the language of Edo. Oshimaruya is a new brand of souvenirs from Marunouchi that carries on that tradition of the gift-giving spirit. *Various other stories exist.
