Author's comment
We usually live our lives with all kinds of "things" around us. How people perceive "things" in daily life,
We also considered the occurrence of discrepancies between the images that multiple people get of the same "thing."
Judge's review
Murayama's ceramic works are said to be created based on the misalignment of the image of the object. The head and legs appear to be part of a standing statue, but the image is obscured by flower petals, making it impossible to see the details, as if asking the viewer to fill in the gaps.
