Author's comment

I take advantage of my yearning for the stage, my nihilism, and the fact that sculptures bring stories to life.

Judge's comment

This is an installation that has a rich, theatrical atmosphere, with four life-sized, distorted, yet strangely realistic human bodies made of ceramic arranged on a table set. I can't really read the story into it, but it's interesting that there's a hint of what could be called a sense of despair or defeat lurking there. (Akira Tatehata)
