Create synthetic creatures of all kinds of iconography and language in three-dimensional and two-dimensional space. What is depicted is the nature that surrounds the artist and does not belong to anyone else.

Judge's comment

Mr. Saito's work, which was also painted on an amorphous cube-like box, created a complex spatial world that protrudes even though it is a painting, and is contained because it is a painting. The mysterious and unsettling world of the story, illuminated only by moonlight, can also be seen as a dark metaphor for modern times.
