The 9th Art Award Tokyo Marunouchi 2015 (hereinafter referred to as aatm) will be held this year, and Venue will be moved to the Maru Cube on the 1st floor of Marunouchi Bldg..
This exhibition will be held as a contemporary art exhibition with the aim of discovering and nurturing young Artist.
A total of 10 awards, including the Grand Prix and Jury Award, will be selected from 20 works selected from graduation works from major art universities and graduate schools nationwide.
Approximately 300 Artist have been introduced at the past eight AATMs, and they are currently active not only in Japan but also overseas.
Marunouchi will continue to create a place for encounters with art as a center of culture and art, and expand the possibilities of young Artist.

The “art award tokyo marunouchi” (hereafter “aatm”), an exhibition of contemporary art which aims to discover and nurture new talent, marked its ninth round in 2015. The aatm 2015 venue was relocated to MARUCUBE on the first floor of Marunouchi Building , with 20 pieces selected from the graduation projects of students at major art universities and graduate schools nationwide. Of these, 10 outstanding artworks will be chosen to receive the Grand Prize, Judge's Prize and eight other awards.
To date, the eight preceding rounds of aatm have showcased approximately 300 artists who are now active in art projects throughout Japan and overseas. Going forward, Marunouchi will remain a trendsetting center for culture and art while providing a place for people to experience inspiring encounters with masterpieces, thereby helping young artists develop their potential. Please come to Marunouchi and enjoy the “aatm” to encounter the acute and youthful sensibilities of up-and-coming artists.
