The story depicts the lives of two people who accept each other unconditionally and put their all into trivial things, and continues to fascinate many people of all ages, from children to adults.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Bam and Kero, and Yuka Shimada's debut, this exhibition will feature approximately 90 pieces of artwork, including all of the original illustrations from the picture book "Bam and Kero's Sunday," as well as original illustrations from each title in the "Bam and Kero" and "Galago" series, and original illustrations drawn specifically to commemorate the 30th anniversary.
In addition, many valuable original drawings and materials will be on display, including original drawings and rough sketches from the planning stage of Bam and Kero, prototypes, art materials such as brushes and palettes used in creating the original picture book illustrations, and color samples that record the colors used during production.
