What is aatm?

Art Award Tokyo Marunouchi (aatm) is an exhibition held at the Yukiyuki Underground Gallery in Marunouchi with the aim of discovering and nurturing young Artist, and new talents will gather together this year as well.
At aatm, students visit graduation exhibitions at art universities and art universities in Japan, and selected works and artists are exhibited at the Yukiyuki Underground Gallery, with grand prizes being awarded to outstanding works. All of the judges are professionals who are leading the Japanese art scene and are active internationally. Among the 188 Artist introduced at the past four AATMs, there have already been many notable new artists active in various fields. The program has been held repeatedly with the aim of discovering and nurturing young Artist, and the results are steadily bearing fruit.

Message from Mitsubishi Estate
The Mitsubishi Estate Group is carrying out recovery support activities with the slogan "Genki! FOR JAPAN." in hopes of helping those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and the recovery of Japan. Marunouchi aims to be ``the most interactive city in the world'' with a good balance of economy, society, environment, and culture, and in particular, in terms of ``culture,'' it has built the `` Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, Tokyo'' that opened in 2010 and ATM. We are promoting urban development through art and music-related events, etc. As part of "Genki! FOR JAPAN.", Mitsubishi Estate is holding the aatm, a unique contemporary art award aimed at students, with the message "Invigorate Japan through art!" We will continue to support and support this year as well.

Examination process

First screening 3/31 Thu
After researching art university graduation exhibitions, the jury will decide on the works to be exhibited (30 artists) from among the works selected for the first round of judging.

Public final screening 7/3 Sun
A public judging will be held based on the works exhibited in the Yukiyuki Underground Gallery, and the winners of each award will be determined.

Shu Uemura Award
Shu Uemura is a Cosmetics brand that continues to pursue the fusion of beauty and art. We established the Shu Uemura Award for the third time in order to contribute to the development of talented young Artist. Winners will be given the opportunity to collaborate on designs, opening the door to their international debut.
H. P. FRANCE Award
I will have the opportunity to hold a solo exhibition in August at HPFRANCE WINDOW GALLERY (1st floor, Marunouchi Bldg.) operated by H. P. FRANCE, and will be able to further my career as Artist.
French Embassy Award
A solo exhibition will be held in December at the entrance hall of the Franco-Japanese Institute (3-9-25 Ebisu, Shibuya-ku).
