I felt like I was doing something that suited me, and I felt like I might be able to create a good picture someday. (Izumi Kato)

Uemura's drawings are simply powerful. I describe what I see and feel in front of my eyes in a way that brings out my entire body. You can see the sincerity in each piece of work, and that sincerity is very important to Artist. Emotion, perception, and description are well connected to create wonderful works. This work can be said to be a successful work in that connection. (Tomio Koyama)
