What is aatm?

Art Award Tokyo Marunouchi (aatm) is an exhibition held at the Yukiyuki Underground Gallery in Marunouchi with the aim of discovering and nurturing young Artist, and new talents will gather together this year as well.
At aatm, students visit graduation exhibitions at art universities and art universities in Japan, and selected works and artists are exhibited at the Yukiyuki Underground Gallery, with outstanding works being awarded grand prizes and other prizes. All judges are professionals who lead the Japanese art scene. Among the 143 Artist introduced at the past three AATMs, there have already been many notable new artists active in various fields. The program has been held repeatedly with the aim of discovering and nurturing young Artist, and the results are steadily bearing fruit.
Related Events such as talk Events and gallery tours will be held during the exhibition period. In addition, we will be holding a vote again this year for the Audience Award, which was popular last year. The art spot "Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, Tokyo" has also opened, and you can enjoy the competition of young talents who predict the future in Marunouchi, which is bustling with art.

He creates a variety of works using various materials such as beads, prisms, silicone oil, urethane foam, and glue. In addition to producing his own works, he has also established a studio called ``SANDWITCH'' in Kyoto, which serves as a platform for the creation of new things, and various projects are underway. A solo exhibition is planned at SCAI THE BATHHOUSE in 2010.

Examination process

First screening 3/27 (Sat)
After researching art university graduation exhibitions, the selection committee will decide on the works to be exhibited (approximately 45 artists) from among the works selected for the first round of judging.

Public final screening 4/29 (Thu)
A public judging will be held based on the works exhibited in the Yukiyuki Underground Gallery, and the winners of each award will be determined.

Exhibition open to the public 4/29 (Thu)- 5/30 (Sun)
