Author's comment
I use woodblock prints to express vivid bones.
Bones are the basis of people living today.
Then, look at the fun things and the trivial scenery.
Judge's review
I am fascinated by the human skeleton, which is usually hidden by skin and flesh, and have chosen it as the motif for this work, but each piece is filled with a sense of life, such as Sports movements or poses from daily life. This sense of dynamism is also connected to the physicality that accompanies the technique of woodblock prints. (Yuka Uematsu)
