Yamagata is known for its cherry production, which is the highest in Japan. Kahoku Town in particular boasts one of the highest cherry production volumes in the prefecture.
Bright red, sweet and sour cherries that have been bathed in sunlight are delivered directly from Kahoku Town to MARUCHIKA in Marunouchi.
