"TOKYO WOOD LIVING 2040 Mountains, Trees and Tokyo Marunouchi Bldg. Building Kiichi"
A three-day design market will be held to make you fall in love with Japan's mountains and trees!
For three days from Fri May 16th to Sun, May 18th, designers, Artist, and manufacturing companies from wood-producing regions all over Japan will gather at Marunouchi Bldg.! A market will be held where you can enjoy conversation while purchasing wood and wood products that are full of the characteristics of the region, as well as products made from the mountains.
In the outdoor space, the wooden trailer house "HUX" made from materials from Shimane Prefecture will be on display for the first time. In addition to being able to experience the wooden mobile living space, there will also be a direct-from-farm vegetable sale by "KOYART," a project designed by university laboratories and schools of architecture and design.
On Sat May 17th, a Shops where you can enjoy crafting with wood will be held at Venue. There will also be a corner where you can experience "Lying Forest," a performance that gives you a sense of the forest, a collaboration between "Tokyo Chainsaws," a forestry group in Hinode Village, on the westernmost edge of Tokyo, and choreographer and dancer Reina Kimura. It will be a three-day event where parents and children and families can enjoy "Japan's mountains and trees" all in Marunouchi.

Events "TOKYO WOOD LIVING 2040 Mountains, Trees and Tokyo," which introduces design and art that connects Japan's mountains and cities and creates a cycle of wood, is being held at four Venue in the Omiya and Yaesu areas from Thu, May 1st to Sat May 31st.
