Dunlop Sports Marketing Co., Ltd., a member of the Sumitomo Rubber Group, will be holding a free event called "Fri DUNLOP FES" (participation is free) in collaboration with Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., at Marunouchi Bldg., Tokyo (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) for two days on Friday, Sat 30th and Saturday, May 31st, 2025, Events visitors can experience the world of the Dunlop brand.
This Events is the brand's first "cross-business" festival, aimed at allowing people to resonate with the brand through experiencing products developed by the Dunlop brand, including golf, tennis, tires, and household goods.
In addition to hands-on golf and tennis Events, the event will introduce a wide range of Dunlop products, including artificial turf for Sports, Sports Apparel, and e-sports. There will also be a talk show by professional golfer Miho Koga and professional tennis player Misaki Doi, as well as a tire pressure inspection demonstration.
01. Experiential content that exposes the various facets of the brand
At Maru Cube on the first floor, you can experience golf lessons and tennis shots. The floor is covered with Sumitomo Rubber Group's artificial Sports turf "Hybrid Turf®," which is also used at Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium, and we have prepared content that will make you feel closer to the Dunlop brand. On the first floor exterior, we will exhibit vehicles that use Dunlop's latest tires, allowing you to learn and experience how to check tire pressure, which is essential for a safe and secure car life. In the corridor on the third floor, we will introduce Sports casual Apparel "DUNLOP REFINED" and e-sports goods "DUNLOP Gaming Muscle," as well as actual displays of the wheelchair ramp "Dunslop" that supports daily life and the familiar rubber work glove "Powerful Fit" series, and we will develop experiential content that will allow you to touch and resonate with the various aspects of the brand through an introduction to the Dunlop brand history and sustainability efforts.
02. Hosting a rally to connect with Dunlop
In addition to touring the exhibits and experience points on the 1st and 3rd floors, a rally will be held where visitors can take part in a quiz. Venue will also feature an introduction to John Boyd Dunlop, the inspiration behind the brand name, a digital chart that will help you find the golf ball that's right for you, and life-size panels where you can take commemorative photos with Shohei Otani, who has signed an advertising contract with Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., and Hideki Matsuyama, who has signed a golf equipment usage contract with the company. The venue is packed with features that will make Dunlop more accessible, fun, and discoverable. Those who complete the rally will have a chance to try their luck at a capsule toy, which will give them a chance to win luxurious prizes.
03. Contracted golf and tennis professionals will appear!
Miho Koga, a professional golfer, will be visiting on Fri May 30th, and Misaki Doi, a professional golfer, will be visiting on Sat May 31st. They plan to hold fun talk shows and demonstrations, which were very popular at last year's "DUNLOP SPORTS FESTA" (Futako Tamagawa, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo). Please check the website for details.

Miho Koga Pro
A professional golfer from Kumamoto Prefecture. She was the 2008 Japan Women's Golf Tour prize money winner and has a total of 12 tour wins. Since retiring, she has also been active as a Sports.
Misaki Doi Pro
A former tennis player from Chiba Prefecture. Her career-highest ranking was 30th in the WTA. In the Grand Slam, she reached the best 16 at the Wimbledon Championships in 2016, her best result to date. She is currently working to promote the spread and development of tennis, and is involved in a wide range of activities, including coaching the Japanese women's national team in the International Team Trophy.
