Overview Period the "Renoir x Cezanne" Exhibition
This is a world-traveling exhibition planned and supervised by the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris, France, which is the first to simultaneously focus on the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist painters Renoir and Cézanne.
The exhibition explores the origins of modern art through approximately 50 works, including portraits, still lifes, and landscapes by the two masters, including Renoir's masterpiece "Girls at a Piano" and Cezanne's masterpiece "Portrait of the Artist's Son," as well as works by Picasso, who was influenced by them.
This world-traveling exhibition, with the cooperation of the Musée de l'Orangerie and the Musée d'Orsay, will travel to Milan, Martini (Switzerland), and Hong Kong before arriving in Japan, with Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, Tokyo being the only Venue in Japan.
Along with the friendship between Renoir and Cezanne, you can fully enjoy the outstanding artistic expression of these two masters who stood on the eve of the birth of modern art, which produced free and diverse expressions.
