Kinjiro's original "Tsubukenpi" is made by crushing sweet potato chips into pellets and baking them in the oven. We mixed this with 61% cacao couverture Chocolate to create a uniquely flavored chocolate crumb. The crunchiness melts in your mouth, and the chocolate melts easily. A single piece of deliciousness will fill you with joy.

Who is Imoya Kinjiro?

Imoya Kinjiro was founded in 2005 as a specialty sweet potato confectionery store that offers top-quality, fresh sweet potato chips. The parent company is Shibuya Foods Co., Ltd., a long-established sweet potato confectionery manufacturer in Hidaka Village, Takaoka District, Kochi Prefecture, which was founded in 1952.
The name comes from the name of the founder, Kinjiro Shibuya, who was so passionate about sweet potatoes that he called himself "Imoya" (sweet potato shop owner) and was devoted to sweet potato chips.
