Aiming to realize an inclusive society, this year's "Disability Week" exhibition and Shops will be held in Marunouchi Area

1. Exhibition of works

"Disability Week Poster" Exhibition

Entries were accepted under the theme of creating a society where everyone, regardless of whether they have a disability or not, can demonstrate their abilities and live safely and securely, and 72 works nominated by prefectures and designated cities across the country were exhibited.

Exhibition of the winning essay in the "Expanding Hearts Essay" competition

Entries were accepted under the theme of "Encounters, Interactions, and Hearts - Expanding the experience of heart-to-heart contact between people with and without disabilities," and the four best works were selected from nominations made by prefectures and designated cities across the country and exhibited.

2. Shops

Various Shops to learn about the characteristics of disabilities

Over two days, on Sat December 6th and Sun, December 7th, we will be holding a variety of Shops with a theme of experience to help people learn about the "characteristics of disabilities."
Venue will feature a variety of fun educational activities, including a quiz rally, deaf Sports experiences, and exhibits related to disabilities.
At the Deaf Athletics Experience Booth, Shogo Sakata, who will be competing in the track and field events at the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics, will be making an appearance on Sat, December 6th!
Events, which will be held only on Sun aims to create a society where everyone can live together, regardless of age or disability.
A talk show will be held, including stories from "Universal Camp."
In addition, there will be a sign language singing performance by Nyanko, a hearing-impaired dancer and model.
