Yurakucho Art Urbanism YAU will hold "YAU OPEN STUDIO '26" Period Fri March 13th to Sun, March 15th, 2026.
This program opens the creative workspaces of Artist based in the Marunouchi, Yurakucho, and Otemachi Area to the public, allowing visitors to experience the creative process up close through exhibitions, tours, Shops, and more.
Enjoy a slightly different view of the city as you experience the expressions and new perspectives that emerge in the city.

01. What is YAU OPEN STUDIO?

A platform connecting cities and creativity - What is YAU?

Yurakucho Art Urbanism YAU is a platform that explores new possibilities for the city through art.
The aim of the project is to bring together a diverse range of people, including Artist, businesses, workers and visitors, on an equal footing to carry out creative practices and experiments within the city.
Set in the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho areas, where business and culture intersect, we foster new relationships between the city and creativity through exhibitions, research, projects, and more.

Opening up the creative process - YAU OPEN STUDIO

YAU OPEN STUDIO is a program held as an opportunity to open up YAU's daily activities to the city.
By opening up Artist' creative studios and thought processes to the public and sharing not only the finished works but also the creative process itself, we will create a space where visitors can encounter art more closely. By experiencing the creative processes that take place every day in the city, we will provide an opportunity to enjoy the city and art from a slightly different perspective than usual.

From "viewing art" to "experiencing art" — How to enjoy YAU OPEN STUDIO

During the event, in addition to exhibitions and open studios, there will be a variety of programs in which visitors can participate.

■Open Studio Tour
A guided tour of Venue and the city will allow you to learn about the background of the works and how to view them, allowing you to enjoy the exhibition even more.

■ Shops and Talk Program
This program allows you to experience the creative process by thinking and working together with Artist.
This creates an opportunity to look at everyday life from a slightly different perspective.

■Exhibition/publication of production works
The exhibition will showcase a wide range of Artist' diverse works and activities, including works in progress, installations, research, and experimental endeavors.
You can encounter not only finished works, but also works in progress.
