MARUZEN MARUNOUCHI MAIN STORE will be hosting the first solo exhibition of artist Chisa Fujioka, who is well-known as the "artist who paints squirrels" and who has created adorable confectionery packaging and menu cover illustrations for cafe Restaurant.
This exhibition will feature warm original drawings and prints, as well as merchandise and the new book "Squirrel Origami Letter Book" (published by Sekai Bunka Publishing).
Please come and see this heartwarming world at Venue.

Chisa Fujioka
2000 Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, Department of Painting, majoring in Western Painting
For about 17 years from 2001 to 2018, he was in charge of the packaging for the Tokyo Western Sweets shop Saikoutei, and his cute squirrel illustrations became popular.
He became known to many as "the painter of squirrels."
In December 2021, he designed the cover illustration for the menu of Italian Cuisine wine and cafe Restaurant Saizeriya, which has attracted attention. Currently, he holds solo exhibitions and displays his works at department stores across the country, while also working as an illustrator in various fields.
