GOOD DESIGN Marunouchi will be hosting the exhibition "Curious Matters - Design that Rediscovers Materials" from Wed, September 2nd to Sat, September 12th.

"Curious Matters" is a joint project between Mitsubishi Chemical and POETIC CURIOSITY.
We reinterpreted existing materials and experimental techniques as "substances that arouse curiosity" through dialogue between materials researchers and designers.
Shaving, searing, holding up to the light. The more you work with the material, the more it reveals expressions that aren't reflected in its specifications.
I have now brought back to Tokyo the artwork that I presented at Milan Design Week 2026.
Rediscovering materials may not mean that the materials themselves change, but rather that we, who interact with them, change.
