The material is made of DESCENTE's originally developed material [TOUGH/tough], which is resistant to fading and to losing its shape.
This functional material has water-absorbing, quick-drying, stretchy properties, and is knitted with a high density to give a thin, cool feel, while also providing UPF 50+ UV protection.
DESCENTE Apparel ORI-ERI specifications were originally developed at DISC, a research and development center in Japan, by applying laser cutting technology at the Nishitou Plant and supersonic sewing technology using ultrasonic bonding.

The sharp and luxurious Orielly specification pursues the finish of the collar, which is the face of the polo shirt, and is filled with Descente's unique technology that prevents the stitching and edges from fraying and is also resistant to repeated washing.
The front placket uses the Terraced Pattern, a pattern specification in which the collar design incorporates a golden spiral based on the "golden ratio," a ratio that humans have found most beautiful since ancient times, to maintain a beautiful curve when the top button is opened. Adhesive sheets are placed in the buttonholes on the front placket to reinforce and accentuate the design.
The pattern of the body and shoulders uses a set-in raglan specification, which looks formal from the front while providing ease of movement around the shoulder blades. Adhesive sewing is also used around the cuffs and hem, and machine stitching is reduced to the minimum, resulting in a minimalist expression from the collar to the hem.
