By applying the adhesive technology that Descente has developed over many years to the manufacture of "shell jackets," outerwear that acts like a shell to protect the wearer from external elements such as rain, wind, and snow, and adopting a newly developed adhesive method for the upper, the shoe softly wraps around the foot while maintaining breathability and waterproofness, achieving a comfortable fit.
The Delta Series, a shoe Shoes specifically for triathlons, was developed to minimize stitching and unevenness inside the shoe, resulting in a Loose Layer Fit Construction that reduces pressure on the foot, and an Original Shoeless System that makes it easy to put on and take off.
In addition, the last design is based on the last of the DELTA series, and a new last is used that pursues the silhouette and comfort of leather shoes.
The outsole uses VIBRAM MEGAGRIP, which was jointly developed by Descente and Vibram for users who frequently come into contact with slippery, wet surfaces.
The upper material is made using technology developed for top athletes, and is a lightweight, soft, original microfiber-based synthetic leather.
