This macaron was inspired by Kamakura Beniya's Kurumicco. The soft ganache, made with generous amounts of Kurumicco caramel, is a perfect match with the walnuts, nestled between the crispy macaron shells. The generous amount of coarsely crushed walnuts creates a dense texture similar to Kurumicco.
This year, the assortment is presented in a limited edition package resembling a Gemstones box found in an antique shop in Paris. Following on from last year and the year before, PIERRE HERME Paris and Kamakura Beniya are collaborating again. A limited number of "Kumakura Beniya's Kurumicco Macarons," which capture the flavor of Kamakura Beniya's popular Kurumicco product, will also be available as Made in PIERRE HERME products.
