The outsole and midsole are made with an original sole jointly developed by Italian company Vibram and Descente. The shoe utilizes Vibram's "VIBRAM SOLE SYSTEM" midsole technology, developed to deliver performance in active situations and improve comfort in Lifestyle situations.
The outer midsole is hard and the heel is soft, providing stability and cushioning while walking. Vibram's traditional design techniques, traction, and durability remain intact, but the outsole base is lighter, with a 50% reduction in thickness thanks to the company's new "VIBRAM LITEBASE" technology.
The outsole design uses the "VIBRAM TRACTION" design, which increases the contact area with the ground compared to conventional designs, improving traction by up to 25%, and the rubber compound uses "VIBRAM MEGAGRIP", which was developed for users who often come into contact with slippery, wet surfaces.
