Exhibition 1: "Places where different lifestyles and cultures overlap"|WAKUSEI / Kota Abe
In Tosa City, Kochi Prefecture, the population outflow to urban areas and the number of foreign workers such as technical interns are increasing simultaneously. Against this backdrop, "WAKUSEI" was born as a base for seeking a symbiotic relationship between technical intern trainees and local people. At WAKUSEI, several programs such as a Southeast Asian market, a café, a print studio, and a design studio (School) are held simultaneously in one building, attracting local residents, technical intern trainees, students, and many others for different purposes. Although they do not speak directly to each other, they share the same place while observing the activities of each. WAKUSEI" is also a place for experimenting with the cultivation and creation of a "new local culture" based on the gap between these different lifestyles and perspectives.

Exhibit 2: "The Wisdom Born in Okinawa: Life with a Community Shop"|Community Shop of Love and Hope Project / Miho Kobayashi, Saki Yamada
This project by Kobayashi and Yamada began with the desire to let as many people as possible know about the lifestyle centered around the "community kiosk," a form of mutual aid wisdom born in Okinawa. We are developing various activities based on the two axes of preserving existing community kiosks and delivering the wisdom of community kiosks to those in need. As we face various social issues such as an aging and shrinking population, when we suddenly feel doubt or anxiety about our current way of life, there are surely many things we can learn from the way of life embodied by these "community kiosks," where people live together with and support those close to them. Through this exhibition, we hope that visitors will learn about the love and hope that has continued in a small community in Okinawa, and that they will be inspired to think about the future.
