The duffle coat has long been a staple winter outerwear piece in traditional styles. During the 1990s, when the "duffle coat boom" took hold in Japan, Glenmore's duffle coats were particularly well-regarded by buyers for their reliable quality and luxurious appearance. Made in the UK for the first time in 25 years, this coat has been reissued, and following the positive response from last season, which sold out shortly after its release, new colors have been added to the lineup for 2025. We'll be sharing the full appeal and meticulous details of this "legendary brand" masterpiece.
Buffalo horn toggle and leather loop for a luxurious look
The distinctive details of the Glenmore duffle coat are the horn toggles made from water buffalo horn and the leather loops. This contrasts nicely with the casual impression of the naval design, which uses wooden toggles and hemp cord. The luxurious appearance exudes the elegance befitting a "gentleman's duffle coat."

Reproduces the herringbone fabric of the legendary fabric brand "Moorebrook"
Moorbrook was a highly sought-after fabric manufacturer known for its outstanding quality and beautiful texture. It sadly disappeared, but in the early 2000s, Malarius purchased Moorbrook's looms and welcomed its artisans, carrying on its traditions and techniques.
The herringbone fabric used in this collection is made by Malarius, and recreates the beautiful herringbone pattern that Moorebrook produced back then. Made from 100% high-quality wool, it is thick yet light and soft. Its unique texture brings back the charm of this classic piece for the modern era.
