The Tsubame-Sanjo region of Niigata Prefecture is known as a "town of manufacturing."
The technology and craftsmanship spirit cultivated by our predecessors has been combined with design to produce many attractive products.
This time, we will introduce many of the Tsubame-Sanjo products that have won awards to date, focusing on those that were awarded in the Tsubame-Sanjo area in 2025.
Additionally, a special exhibit will be held showcasing Maruto Hasegawa Kosakusho, a company in the area that has received numerous Good Design Awards. The company has won 57 awards since its first award in 1982. They offer a wide range of attractive products that focus on cutting, including the tool brand "KEIBA," which primarily produces pliers, and the brand "MARUTO," which sells nail and beauty products. Come take a look at the products that are created using "forging," a manufacturing technique that is representative of Tsubame-Sanjo.

Some of the exhibits are on sale at "GOOD DESIGN STORE TOKYO by NOHARA" on the 3rd floor of KITTE Marunouchi, and at "Ginza Niigata Information Center THE NIIGATA" on Ginza Suzuran Street.
