Starting with the 2014 Spring/Summer model, a 3D spacer part has been placed on the back to reduce stuffiness when wearing the backpack. The tricot on the back is custom dyed purple to ensure a beautiful backside.
The front zipper is equipped with Descente's unique dual ventilation system. The two rows of zippers and the double Russell fabric placed between them allow outside air to enter and release uncomfortable heat and humidity that can easily build up inside the garment. Four zipper pockets are located on the left and right front of the garment. The double Russell fabric used partially in the pocket lining, along with strategically placed ventilation and laser holes, promote ventilation inside the garment. The back of the garment features 3D spacer parts for ventilation and air passage, effectively promoting ventilation on the back side, which tends to get trapped. The 3D spacer parts maintain space between the garment and the body when wearing the backpack, keeping the humidity inside the garment comfortable.
The hood features an adjustable rubber spindle and stopper. The cuffs feature a one-hand adjustment system, allowing for easy adjustment with one hand even when wearing gloves. The hem features a Cohaesive™ cord lock system, allowing for quicker and easier adjustment of the garment's fit. The neck area is lined with brushed tricot for a comfortable feel against the skin.
The gusset pattern design from the underarms to the arms prevents the hem from riding up even when you raise your arms, improving comfort during activities. Great for all seasons, from Outdoor activities to everyday use.
