In Marunouchi Area (Otemachi, Marunouchi, Yurakucho), Events "Marunouchi Illumination 2023" will be held Period Thu 2023 to Sun, February 18, 2024, decorating the city as a winter tradition.
This year marks the 22nd year of the Marunouchi Illumination 2023 event, and more than 360 street trees in the Marunouchi Area area, from the approximately 1.2 km main street, Marunouchi-Nakadori Ave., to Tokyo Transportation Center in front of Yurakucho Station and Otemachi Nakadori, will be illuminated with approximately 1.2 million champagne gold LED bulbs.
Furthermore, this year, for 28 days from November 28th Tue to December 25th Mon, the illuminations will be expanded to a part of Gyoko-dori Ave., which connects Imperial Palace Outer Garden and Tokyo Station (Organizer by Gyoko-dori Ave. Illumination Executive Committee). We will deliver a warmer and more refined winter urban landscape unique to Tokyo and Marunouchi to people from both Japan and abroad.
