The sustainable Fashion Events that finds new value in deadstock is being held again this year!

This initiative, centered around Maru Cube on the 1st floor of Maru Building, takes unsold items from brands and Shops that have no sales route and has left them unsold (= DEAD STOCK) and re-edits them through the unique perspective of top stylist Marunouchi Bldg. Hiroshi. He adds new stories to the items and sells them as "LIVE STOCK" (= living stock).

Various brands from Marunouchi Area will also participate, and with the theme of "reviving deadstock," we have prepared content that allows people to experience sustainability while having fun in Marunouchi.

***What is “LIVE STOCK”?
"LIVE STOCK" is a new way of enjoying Fashion advocated by Hiroshi Ozawa. Dead stock (= DEAD STOCK) that is sold at sales and outlets by Apparel brands but remains unsold and is discarded or recycled is selected and re-edited from the perspective of a Fashion professional as a stylist, and given new added value, it is reborn as a new product (= LIVE STOCK) and sold. This initiative has attracted a lot of attention as one of the sustainable efforts to support problems that plague Fashion, such as overproduction and inventory burning.

01. A limited select Shops with three brands! "CONNECTING"

Last year, UNITED ARROWS and BEAMS opened stores, and this year BAYCREW'S has joined the selection of Shops!

The dead stock from each Shops will be re-edited as "LIVE STOCK" by general producer Ozawa, and especially recommended items will be sold with original tags handwritten by Ozawa.

02. "EDISTORIAL STORE POP UP" (Marucube), a LIVE STOCK store produced by Mr. Ozawa for Marunouchi

A pop-up store will be set up at Maru Cube on the first floor Marunouchi Bldg. to propose and sell "LIVE STOCK," a product produced by director Ozawa specifically for Marunouchi.
During Period, Ozawa will also be at the store to offer coordination suggestions and provide styling consultations.
*Mr. Ozawa may not be at the store depending on Time Zone.

03. Last year's popular "Original Embroidery Service"

Events was so popular last year that people lined up, and it's being held again this year!
Using a special machine made in the United States, we will embroider your desired initials on the bandanas sold on the day and on any other items you purchase as Service.

04. EASY BAKE: Selling popular homemade baked goods

Easy Bake is a bake Shops attached to an editorial store in Ueda. Having opened a stand at Livestock Market last year and been well-received, they will be back again this year, selling their popular homemade baked goods.

05. 11 brands from Marunouchi Area will participate! "LIVE STOCK POP UP"

Marunouchi Area At the participating stores in the "DEAD STOCK" section, the staff in charge of each brand picks up the items, selects and re-edits "DEAD STOCK" from their own perspective, and conducts POP UP sales of products reborn as "LIVE STOCK. The POP UP will be held at the participating stores in the city, where each brand's staff will select and reorganize "DEAD STOCK" from their own viewpoints and sell products reborn as "LIVE STOCK.

06. About Director Hiroshi Ozawa (Stylist and Owner of EDISTORIAL STORE)

He started his career as an assistant stylist for the magazine "POPEYE" while attending university. As an editorial stylist, he has worked on a wide range of magazines, from cultural magazines such as "POPEYE", "BRUTUS" and "Huge" to magazines aimed at adult men such as "Men's EX" and "Pen". As a director, he is involved in web direction for "Paul Stuart".
In the 1990s, he produced "MADE IN WORLD," a pioneer of independent select Shops. In 2016, he launched the brand "Ozawa Hiroshi Editorial." "Editorial" is his own coined word, combining "Editorial" and "Story," and has been inherited by "Editorial Store," which he opened in his hometown of Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture in May 2022.
