Marunouchi Seimaiten focuses on the rice used by many restaurants and sells high-quality rice at reasonable prices to restaurants. To make good quality rice even more delicious, they also built a rice mill in Marunouchi Area.
By setting up a rice mill within the area, Marunouchi Rice Mill not only offers high-quality rice, but also the added advantage of "freshly milled rice." 1. How the Marunouchi Rice Mill was established

City and regional revitalization projects noticed through changes after the COVID-19 pandemic

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant Occasion has changed significantly, and the prices of various things such as ingredients, labor costs, and water, electricity, and gas bills have risen, making the environment surrounding restaurants even more difficult. In this situation, we focused on the ingredient procurement costs of restaurants and thought about how we could achieve an efficient and stable ingredient supply system by building a joint procurement platform called "MEC PANTRY" that takes advantage of the size and potential of the city, which has more than 400 restaurants in Mitsubishi Estate's buildings alone. As the first project of MEC PANTRY, we created the "Marunouchi Rice Milling Store". By focusing on rice, which many restaurants will likely handle in common, and providing freshly milled white rice, we aim to contribute to management efficiency by reducing ingredient procurement costs while maximizing the satisfaction of workers in the area. In addition, by having everyone eat a lot of rice, we will contribute to the further development of rice, one of Japan's world-class contents.
