About MEC Pantry

A joint procurement platform for restaurants in the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho (Marunouchi Area)

Marunouchi Area is home to over 1,000 restaurants, 400 to 500 of which are Mitsubishi Estate tenants. From lunch to dinner, the area supports the food needs of many people. By aggregating the needs of these large retailers and supporting their purchasing, it was thought possible to reduce costs and procure better products. "MEC Pantry" was born from this idea through the Mitsubishi Estate Group's New Business Proposal System for 2023. Furthermore, by leveraging a long-term urban development perspective, we will develop PR that enhances the value of the experience in the city, such as through food experiences and Events involving producers. This will not only increase sales at each store in Marunouchi Area, strengthen the city's overall ability to attract customers and increase asset value, but also revitalize producers and production areas.

Marunouchi Rice Mill was born as the first project of MEC Pantry. We believe that being able to eat delicious rice is one of the great values for a city. The mission of Marunouchi Rice Mill is to spread the experience of eating rice so that people naturally think, "If I'm going to eat a meal, Marunouchi is the best place."
