A new travel experience that lets you enjoy the act of travel itself
The Otemachi, Marunouchi, Yurakucho District Urban Development Council (hereinafter referred to as the "Otemachi-Marunouchi Council"), in collaboration with GEKIDANIINO LLC, will conduct a demonstration experiment of three low-speed autonomous mobility vehicles (walking assistance mobility vehicles) running simultaneously Period Monday Mon 2024 to Wed with the aim of realizing a new mobility Service that encourages people to move around the city through new mobility experiences that make the act of "moving" itself fun.
(*) Remote monitoring is implemented in one of the three vehicles, while the other two vehicles are operated under close monitoring (with one monitoring operator present).
Collaboration with the Tokyo International Film Festival using mobility
In cooperation with the Tokyo International Film Festival, which will be held at the same time, we will project images from mobility vehicles onto the walls of buildings and install furniture to create a film festival atmosphere. This will be the first case in Japan where mobility vehicles are used as a medium for moving around the city, and video content will be projected onto the walls of buildings while in motion.
We will create a lively atmosphere and new mobility experiences within the area and examine people's movement there.
Collaboration with "Oh MY Map!", a real-time travel map for the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho areas
Information related to this experiment will also be posted on "Oh MY Map!", Events real-time travel map of the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho areas that is provided to visitors by linking the Urban OS built by the Otemachi-Marunouchi Council with location information from various mobility services, event information, etc. You can view information on the driving route, mobility spots/content spots, Venue of the linked Events (Tokyo International Film Festival), and Eligible Stores survey coupons.

This initiative is being carried out as part of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Urban Affairs Bureau's "Smart City Implementation Support Project." Toward the realization of the "urban redesign" concept in the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho area, "Smart & Walkable," the initiative will examine new mobility Service and ways of redesign that contribute to a town filled with new encounters and discoveries. The Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho area will continue to promote smart city-related initiatives in order to realize a Smart & Walkable city.
