"Omiya SDGs Film Festival 2025" to be held
Events spaces in the Otemachi, Marunouchi and Yurakucho Area will be transformed into mini-theaters
The Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho Area will host the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho SDGs Film Festival 2025 from Monday, September 29th to Thu, October 23rd, showcasing films with themes related to the 17 SDGs. The Otemachi, Mon, and Yurakucho SDGs Film Festival began in 2020 as the symbolic Events for Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho SDGs ACT5, and this year marks its sixth year. This year's festival will focus on "current global issues we want to think about," including environmental and human rights issues, overtourism, war, and AI. There will also be special free screenings, including a special Venue between ACT5 and E&J Fest, and an outdoor screening on the KK Line (formerly the Tokyo Expressway).
Events spaces and incubation offices in the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho area will be transformed into mini-theaters, where films and talks will be presented to viewers about the current state of the global issues behind the SDGs and hints at how to solve them.
