This exhibition will showcase approximately 70 items from the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP)'s collection of design award winners, including Good Design Award winners and Long Life Design Award winners, spanning from the 1950s to the 2020s.
The Good Design Award is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. Alongside the progress of Japanese industry and the changing times, a variety of designs that enrich our lives have been created, and some continue to be loved today.
In a constantly changing society, I would like to consider what kind of future design can paint and how it can illuminate our lives, by looking back at memorable masterpieces.
