Date: June 30th Tue– July 13th Mon, 2026
11:00 - 20:00
Open every day during the exhibition period. Admission is free.

The "Yusaku Kamekura Award" and the "JAGDA Newcomer Award," selected from the annual publication "Graphic Design in Japan" by the Japan Graphic Design Association, will be holding a series of exhibitions this summer at GOOD DESIGN Marunouchi to commemorate the 2026 award winners.
The "Yusaku Kamekura Award" was established in 1999 to honor the achievements of Yusaku Kamekura (1915-1997), the first chairman of JAGDA (Japan Graphic Design Association). Respecting Kamekura's legacy of pursuing the artistry and essence of graphic design, the award aims to recognize graphic design that possesses both universality and innovation. It is presented annually to the most outstanding work and its creator from among all entries in the yearbook "Graphic Design in Japan."
For its 28th year, the award has been given to Mina Tabei for her solo exhibition, spatial design, promotional materials, and photobook, "Light, Shapes, and Their Surroundings." The work centers on a series of photographs in which objects are combined and fixed in two dimensions, and the exhibition space is constructed with sets that recreate the subjects of these works. The work was highly praised for its constructivist expression, the clever strategy of being conscious of dimensions, and the sense of depth it conveyed. To commemorate this award, the work will be presented in a new space and with new light.
