A down manufacturer that started out in 1941 in a futon production area.
The company name "Nanga" comes from Nanga Parbat in the Himalayas.
Nanga Parbat is the 9th highest mountain in the world, with an elevation of 8,126m. It is also known as the "Man-Eating Mountain" and refers to the difficult mountain that has claimed many lives in the past. The company's name reflects the belief of founder Akira Yokota that "We will do it precisely because it is difficult; we will climb where no one else has climbed."
