At Marunouchi Happ. STORE, as the third Events of the newly launched community project "Marunouchi Commons," we will be welcoming Ippodo Tea Shop, a Japanese Tea Specialty Store with its main store in Kyoto, to host "Ippodo Night Café: The World of Matcha, Gyokuro, Sencha, and Bancha."

Mini-lessons will be held for each of the following: matcha, gyokuro, sencha, and bancha.
Let's deepen our understanding while enjoying a tasting.
Between sessions, there's time for participants to socialize over tea. You can attend sessions that interest you, chat with others in between, or enjoy the time however you like.

Also on that day, we will be holding a night Café where you can casually drop by without a reservation and enjoy an evening while ordering your favorite tea, drinks, alcohol, snacks, etc.

For those who want to learn more about tea, we will be holding a short 15-minute lecture.
Whether you want to participate in everything or just choose the ones that interest you, you're more than welcome to join!

Enjoying Café at night

On the day of the event, you can drop in without a reservation and enjoy a casual evening in Café style, ordering your favorite tea, drinks, alcohol, and snacks. We plan to offer not only matcha, gyokuro, and hojicha teas, but also specialty drinks such as spiced sencha milk tea and alcoholic beverages mixed with tea.

We also offer snacks that can be enjoyed with tea, so you can either savor your tea or enjoy chatting with a drink or alcohol that catches your eye.

Every month, we hold events that are linked to the town's seasons, culture, and Events, as well as community events that allow participants to connect with each other on an ongoing basis.
