About ASICS PICKLEBALL CONNECT
ASICS will open a limited-time urban pickleball court, "ASICS PICKLEBALL CONNECT," in the Galleria on the 1st floor of Tokyo Bldg. TOKIA for approximately two Period, from Sat, October 31st to Sun December 27th.
The event will run for approximately two months on two full-sized courts. We have created an environment that can be enjoyed by everyone, from those who are trying pickleball for the first time to those who want to play seriously. Whether you're a complete beginner or a serious player, everyone can enjoy pickleball.
Opening Hours are from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, so you can use our facilities at your convenience, whether before or after work, or between shopping trips. Venue is located inside a covered galleria, so you can play even on rainy days. Changing rooms are available (showers are not provided).
We've also set up a photo spot next to the court. Our aim is to create a place where people who work in Marunouchi and those who visit the area can feel closer to physical activity.
ASICS' pickleball initiative
ASICS has been developing a pickleball business in the United States since 2021, and is now expanding its operations to Asia and other regions. In Japan, they rent out Shoes at pickleball facilities mainly in Tokyo, and they also participate in the domestic league "PX LEAGUE" as the owner of the team "ASICS Sevens".
Going forward, we will continue to expand opportunities to be involved with pickleball in various ways, not only through product sales but also by providing venues for playing.
Reservations, Fees, and rental Shoes information
The court can be reserved by the hour through the reservation website "RESERVE ONE". Payment is by credit card only at the time of reservation. Reservations are accepted from October 23rd Fri.

*Cancellations are free of charge up to 3 days before the scheduled date of use. Cancellations made 2 days or less before the scheduled date will incur the full usage fee.

*Only indoor Shoes with "NON-MARKING" marked on the sole are permitted. If your Shoes do not have this marking, please use our rental Shoes.

What is pickleball?
It's a racket Sports that originated in the United States, combining elements of tennis, table tennis, and badminton. It's played on a court the same size as a badminton doubles match, where players hit a perforated plastic ball with paddle-shaped rackets.
Even those with little athletic experience can easily keep a rally going, and it's becoming Sports that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, and it's spreading throughout Japan.
