On October 3, 2026 Sat and October 4, 2026, Sun, the "Tokyo Chocolate Salon 2026" will be held at Marunouchi TOKIA. Two days will bring together Chocolate brands from Japan and abroad to enjoy cacao and Chocolate from around the world. This year, the event will be powered up into a Events where you can enjoy the world of cacao more closely through various experiences such as seeing, discovering, tasting, playing, and buying.

44 Chocolate brands from all over Japan will gather at Venue. The offerings will include craft Chocolate, unique products from each brand, Events exclusive items, eat here menus available only for these two days, and cacao-related Miscellaneous Goods. A highlight of Events is the opportunity to converse directly with the producers and learn about the background of each Chocolate and cacao.
From cacao trees to Chocolate. See, touch, play, and experience.
The event will introduce the process of how cacao becomes Chocolate, using actual specimens to illustrate everything from cacao trees and cacao pods to fermentation and drying. Furthermore, there will be mini-games such as a "cacao tower" where you stack cacao pods, Chocolate making Shops for parents and children, and photo opportunities. Children and adults alike can enjoy cacao using all their senses.
Ogasawara-grown cacao will also be featured! A special booth to enjoy the charm of the island.
One of this year's highlights is the "Ogasawara Special Booth," which will showcase Ogasawara's cacao and the island's charm. The booth will feature sales of raw cacao pods from Ogasawara, as well as Chocolate made with cacao from Chichijima and Hahajima islands. There will also be displays of local ingredients and specialties, and a photo exhibition. There will even be an interactive experience where you can crack open a cacao pod on the spot, see the pulp, smell it, and taste it. Use cacao as your entry point to explore Ogasawara's food and culture.
