In the Marunouchi/Otemachi/Yurakucho area, you can see "pollinators" such as honeybees and butterflies that support plant pollination.
In this Events, we will take a walk through the Marunouchi area during lunchtime, taking photos of insects gathering on flowers with our smartphones, and conduct a comprehensive survey of "small creatures."
The photos taken will be posted to the biodiversity collection app "Biome." This will be used as valuable data to understand the biodiversity of Marunouchi and will contribute to the future creation of a greener city.
Since the tour will be guided by an expert, even those who are new to observing wildlife can participate with confidence.
What kinds of creatures gather around autumn flowers?
Why not step outside for a little while during your usual lunch break, grab your smartphone, and take a peek at the urban natural beauty?
The animal you spot, the photograph you take—it might just be a clue to nurturing the greenery of Marunouchi in the future.
This time, it's the autumn edition for October.
Let's explore the "small creatures of the town" that change with the seasons, in a way that's different from summer.

Guided tour by an interpreter who is knowledgeable about the city's natural environment!
Similar to the summer edition, we will be welcoming members of the interpreters who conduct wildlife surveys in the Marunouchi/Otemachi/Yurakucho area as guests.
On the day of the event, we will conduct a survey while introducing how to find pollinators and key points for observation. Even those who are new to observing living creatures can easily participate.

Currently, the Ecozzeria Association and Biome are collaborating to conduct a citizen-participation survey in the Marunouchi/Otemachi/Yurakucho area to investigate the ecology of pollinators. This time, and throughout the entire Period, try submitting lots of photos of wildlife to win prizes!
